Let it be known

To all who enter here

That Christ is the reason for this school,

The unseen, but ever present

 Teacher in the classes,

 The Model of its faculty

 The Inspiration of its students.

We Proclaim a Year of Jubilee

1956-2006

Our Lady of Ransom School is located in Northeast Philadelphia. We opened our doors on September 6th, 1956. In 2006 we marked 50 years of Spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ through our Mission of Catholic Education.

Jesus said, "Let the children come..." and they did!

With pride we extend this welcome, so that you may appreciate all the good things which take place here.  We hope you may keep experiencing the lived out Catholic commitment that is evident here at our school.

May Our Lady of Ransom continue to Bless Us!

MISSION STATEMENT

In this post-9/11 society, the goal of the administration, faculty and staff of Our Lady of Ransom School is to maintain a strong Catholic presence, while providing a safe environment in which students of diverse cultures can develop Catholic Faith, character, knowledge and skills.
